Aquapacer™
The Aquapacer™ has been designed to assist in the training
of swimmers and to regulate their strokes over any combination of training
sets. The programming unit is pre-programmed with split times, stroke rate
(or time per stroke), rest intervals and the number of repeats. This information
is then downloaded into the 'Pacer', which is a small sounding unit containing
a micro controller and is worn under the swimmers cap or on the goggle
strap. The unit produces variable frequency audio signals for the swimmer
to respond to. It can store the following programmable options - a 5 second
start countdown, 'Go off' times (or total set repeat times), stroke times,
stroke rates, split times, rest intervals and up to four swim sets. Coaches
and swimmers can pre-program these training sets with complete accuracy.
